large amount of heat energy is released. The heat energy is then used to make
steam. Finally
The steam is used to turn giant wheels called turbines. The turning motion of
turbine generates electricity.
Nuclear power plants work, The uranium is the fuel for
nuclear power plants by shooting neutrons at a uranium atom. The atom
splits called nuclear fission is producing a lot of energy. The negative
aspects is that There is expensive safety concerns. Long-term high level waste
storage, nuclear proliferation it means To grow or multiply by rapidly
producing new tissue, parts, cells, or offspring. It also needs thousands of
years to become safe.
The positive aspects is that it produces a little amount of
carbon emission, the fuel is inexpensive and there is no green house or acid
rain effects.
Nuclear energy is nonrenewable and it pollutes the
environment.
